Share early. Be specific when you can.
Builders Board is for the point where something exists — an idea, experiment, or prototype — but the best next person or direction may still be unclear. Put the work where other people can see it and give them enough context to discover their own way in.
Show the project, not a job description
Explain what it is, where it stands, what already exists, and what you are currently trying to figure out. Posts expire after 30 days unless their owner keeps them active.
Choose an invitation that is honest
Choose specific help when you know the skill, experience, or access that would move the project forward. Choose open to ideas when you want people to suggest possibilities you may not have considered.
Reach out with a profile and a reason
Interested members share how they could contribute and why the project caught their attention. It should feel like opening a conversation, not applying for a role.
Accept a private conversation
The recipient can accept or decline. Acceptance opens private messaging inside Builders Board without revealing either person’s email. Each person can share their contact details later when they feel comfortable; links marked private stay private.
Try working together before defining it
Start with a conversation, prototype review, small task, or short experiment. Some connections stop there; others become advice, paid work, a portfolio project, an ongoing collaboration, or a company.
